Advanced Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

In the Opel Corsa, ABS is much more than “just” ABS. It is the latest generation system incorporating a number of additional functions:

Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD): optimizes the braking performance according to the vehicle load. Available on certain models.

Cornering Brake Control (CBC): improves stability when braking in curves by reducing brake pressure to the inner front wheel.

Straight Line Stability Control (SLS): detects and corrects any tendency to instability when braking in a straight line by reducing brake pressure to the relevant wheels.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

The speed-sensitive power-assisted steering provides maximum assistance when parking, and ensures good road contact and steering precision at higher speed. An extra direct, high response system is optionally available on all trims.
